Creekstone Irodori Wagyu rib roasts… cheaper than their prime was 2 years ago?

    At least pretty dang close.

American Wagyu Boneless Half Ribeye 8-11 lbs $239

Over $175, free shipping. Apply code MARUBENI15 for 15% off. Total, $203.15.

In December 2023, I bought a 12-14 lb prime rib roast from Creekstone for $221, with free shipping, and then a second one a week later for $245 with free shipping.

Allowing for the inevitable differences in weight, I’d say this is a pretty good deal. A quick check of Porter Road and SRF, nobody is even close. Although some folks have reported getting roasts on the lower end, almost everything I’ve gotten from Creekstone has been on the high end, even over weight a couple times.

Thanks for sharing. I love Creekstone beef. There hasn't been many sales there the last year or so.

        Texas bbq runs on Creekstone.

Thanks, ordered one. Assume a 10 lb roast. They are selling 18 oz ribeyes for $69. A 10 lb roast will yield a little more than eight 18oz ribeyes which would cost $552 plus tax if ordered separately. Ordering the half roast will make them $29 each or ten one pound steaks would be $26 each. HEB sells 0.8lb Wagyu ribeyes for $34 each ($41/lb).

I snuck in early enough to score an 8-11 pounder.

Thank you for sharing this. I was able to grab one of 6-8lb roasts which is a good size for our clan

I just got this message. I told them to cancel my order and issue a refund.

Hulagn1971 How did you get one for $169? They are listed for $199. Did you order the wagyu?

                  Hello DAVID,

We wanted to take a moment and communicate about your order. When our fulfillment team was packing your order, they ran into a Quality Assurance issue with the large Irodori Wagyu ribeye. Rather than sending, our team has held your order so that you could be reached.

You had the last large ribeye allocated to your order. Unfortunately, we do not have any more available and to ensure we can get this package on the road today, would like to offer an alternative. We do have the smaller, 6-8lb roast available to send, which we would also provide credit back to you for the substitution.

Please confirm with our team, ASAP if this will be acceptable so that we can ensure you receive your order by the end of the week.

                  Regards,
                  Creekstone Farms Team

EDIT: They just replied and said that there wasn't a miscount; the vacuum seal was compromised on the last one and they can't risk a food safety issue. They said that they will restock the week of Thanksgiving. I told them they could hold my order over if they will honor the same price.

58limited I entered the discount code MARUBENI15 at checkout and it dropped it another $29.85. Got my confirmation email but we'll see. Yep, ordered the American Wagyu.

I'm mad at myself for missing that, guess that's what I get for ordering at 10pm after eating dinner with two glasses of wine.

Heck, you’re almost on first name basis with them by now. Just email back saying you forgot to apply the code. They’ll credit you.

Dang, they don't have the 8-11 in stock... 8 would work great for Thanksgiving but I dunno if I wanna gamble and get a 6lber... oh well I'll gamble and just do an extra turkey breast if it's short.

6-8 boneless is pretty big. Figure it will serve 10. That plus a turkey breast, or a small ham, or all 3, you’re feastin’.

Mosca 3 of my guests are young military guys, including myself 2 of us are retired military with caveman appetites, and then a teenage boy as well. 6 will work, but 10 would have been perfect. I suspect it will beat whatever I was gonna get at Sams though, their Prime has been suspect lately (often the choice is better marbled!) So super glad I came across you bringing this to our attention.

Got mine a few minutes ago, it arrived fully frozen. This is the first Creekstone product I’ve received that is at the low end of the range, at 8.1lbs. It’s as promised, so I’m not complaining, and over the years I am FAR ahead on that one. I’ve even gotten product that was significantly OVER.

Plus, it’s a nice looking roast.

I received my roast today. It too arrived fully frozen as were the ice packs. I ordered the 6-8lb and mine weighed in at 7lbs 5oz. I am looking forward to cooking this Christmas day!
