4 LED refrigerator bulbs and an airfilter for our subzero that's in the butlers pantry, batteries, vitamins, some craftsmen screwdrivers (Phillips only, mune keep walking off) dishashing powder, beard butter, and some leather care products from Bickmore. Didn't even know it was prime day.

Kamado Joe Jr. was on sale, close to 50% off. But it’s sold out, no longer available. I guess I snoozed…..

Nothing. I spent my money on a Cheshire pork sale ( buypork.com ) instead. I know that’s American made at least.

I love this stuff, too. If I didn’t have so many thermometers I’d get it.

STEbbq I'll post in my retirement thread when they're done but we don't do gnomes here, and these guys were looking mighty tired and with the new chipped slate in front of the house they needed a little pop.

                    Griddle dragons?

                    Smoker Dragons?

                    Pretty cool either way!

They always have bundles with Echo products and Hue lightbulbs, and this time is no exception. Usually, I figure it's about $5-10 more for the bundle than it is for the bulb alone, so I pull the trigger.

But then again, I did just pull the trigger on a pancake batter dispenser, since not having one is the only reason I don't make pancakes on my flattop griddle.

As for the oil dispenser/sprayer, I decided not to bite, since I already have this:

                    https://www.lowes.com/pd/Zep-32-oz-P...Bottle/3621238

I scrubbed/rinsed it out good, and tested it. it works pretty well. I can also take it apart and give it an ultrasound bath if it clogs.

I have a few of those. I bought a dozen when I was into car detailing, and there are a few I never used for chemicals. I keep one in the fridge with 50/50 apple juice and apple cider vinegar.

Prime Day is not always what it's cracked up to be. A couple items I was eyeballing were on sale before Prime days started. During Prime days, they were the same sale price but now had a red "Prime Day Savings" badge on them. Now that the Prime days are over, they remain at that same sale price w/o the badge. Fake sense of urgency on many things.

According to Kim Kamando $7.2B was spent on day 1 alone, 210% more than an avg day! I wonder how much was legit stuff that people needed and was actually a legit Prime Day sale, and how much wasn't really. Anyway, I was able to score a couple packs of microfiber cloths half off though, so not all was lost for me.

That is why I put things in my cart, and then check back periodically, if I don't really need. I wanted the Creami, sure didn't need it, but had had it in my cart for about six weeks. I knew, when I saw on Monday the price was down $50, I would bite. And I did.

We normally just browse the wish list on Prime Day.

Go to camelcamelcamel.com and enter the link for the Amazon product of interest. It will show you a graph of that item’s price history over the past several months.

Prime Day came and went. The only thing I bought, I didn’t buy from Amazon: my main cutting board is about 10 years old and full of deep cuts, and I’ve always coveted a Boos board. They had a 15% off sale, so I bit on a nice medium sized and medium featured and medium priced board, “Maple Cutting Board 1-1/2" Thick (R-Board Series) - 20" x 15" x 1-1/2"”. $106 after discount.

I can’t believe I escaped Prime Days without buying a single thing. Amazing. Usually I buy a bbq or woodworking tool or gadget I really don’t need. Of course I seem to buy plenty of that stuff the rest of the year so a very small victory for sure. But hey. I’ll take it! 🙄🤣

the first few years Prime Day was better than black friday, now you gotta wade through pages of chinese junk and knock off products, still a deal to be found here and there but each year I find I'm less interested in the offerings and usually even less interested in their "discounts"

Missus bought a set of knives, which shall remain nameless. She took them out of the package, used some colorful terms, and made me pack them up. They are going right back.

                      I bought tablet styluses.
