PRIME DAY - Amazon deals - anything that catches your eye?

Anything out there you have seen? America’s Test Kitchen put out a few things that caught my eye - mainly the Breville Smart Oven for $70 off (I should have checked prices prior to Prime Day).

But anything out there you have found??? Griddle accessories, kitchen accessories?

    post them up!

Here’s ATK article on what they found as great deals. I’ll post because a number of these things are items I see discussed on here. Maybe it helps save a few bucks.

I bought yoga pants, olive oil (no PD deal) and an olive oil dispenser that both pours and sprays as needed. Not very exciting so far.

      K.

Edited to add: these look like a good deal (54% off if the original price is accurate). Recommended in barelfly 's ATK link

I love my USA half sheet pans. Don't need any more, or I'd jump on this deal.

I got the same oil dispenser/sprayer, too ... then realized that I couldn't decide whether to use it for olive oil or a neutral high-temp oil ... so I bought another.

Actually, I was looking at those oil dispensers. Not sure if they're good or not, they might be of random quality, based on the reviews. A good spritzer would be good, buy I don't know how well that mechanism would hold (sealing) after moving from spray to pour to spray after a few months. They don't seem to have been out for long, and some reviewers have reported backspray and leaks.

I would really like to hear your thoughts on yours once you get it.

My daughter has the same sprayer/pour oil bottle that I ordered, and likes it. I think she's had it for about 6 months. It's been in my "Save for Later" list on Amazon since she recommended it, so I decided to get it and give it a try. I'll let you know.

I've been watching the Ninja Creami for a while. There was a conversation here, and I know several people that have, and love, them. I'm rather addicted to gelato and fruit sorbets, and decided to bite if the price was right. Had in my amazon cart for maybe six weeks? Yesterday it dropped 50 bucks, so I bit. It's sitting inside the front door, waiting for me to open, but got a few things to do today first. Today, I got a safe I'd also had in my cart, wanted one big enough for some cash, jewelry, back up drives, password lists, final docs, that sort of thing, but one that I could move myself. This is 40 lbs (I can pick up a 40 lb bag of dog food and move it a little way) and can bolt to wall, floor, or (for me) inside a cabinet. It dropped 30% today, so. Also some electrolyte drink packs I like, looked at a few other things that didn't come down enough to suit me (so far). I learned if you put in your cart, when you go back and look at it the price will be adjusted. Think I'm done now, nothing else strikes me that I need.

barelfly, I'm trying to be good. I have some laundry to put away, and dishwasher to unload, and then I'll unbox and look at it. I have some mango juice that might be my first shot. Will report back.

I want one, too, but I know I'd never use it. It would just be an amorphous feeling that I could make ice cream if I wanted to, but I would never want to

The last few years, the wife always hears about Prime Day and asks me if there is anything we need. We got all the electronic gadgets and gizmos we need, so I've never seen anything really jump out at me that I just had to have on Prime Day.

Well, over on Thermoworks.com, they have a "prime day" sale of 30% off on the Thermapen One. My trusty Thermapen Classic, originally bought around 2014, has been serviced once (in 2021) for not turning on reliably when you open the probe, and it's back to doing that again. They are offering me $40 flat rate repair, plus cost of shipping to them, or a $74 Thermapen One. Considering that's pretty much the current sale price, I was hoping they would offer more.

Probably keep the current one, and order a Thermapen One while I can get it on sale, rather than spend $40 on a second repair of the same issue. I may pull it apart and see if I can fix/repair the switch myself.

I just got this adjustable grill basket with detachable handle for $6 off on Prime Day $29 vs $35

I got a set of 4 kebab baskets by the same manufacturer, though, for full price.

Not Amazon, but Crutchfield is having a one week sale on lots of electronics if you’re in the market.

Several of their Klipsch speakers are on sale too…

Those aren't the "real" Klipsch deals they'll go almost 50% off at some point during the year. Still a decent drop on normal pricing for those who don't wanna wait. I'm waiting on the RP-1200SW to drop a bit supposedly it hits 500ish
