Anyway, I self loaded some cartridges today. I didn't aggressively trim the tissue paper so some of it tried to stop to rotation but not bad. I loaded kosher salt and some ground pepper. oddly the kosher salt didnt do as much damage as the pepper or stock salt shot.
Nice! Mine came in the mail on Friday. I shot a hard cased beetle that my regular Bug a salt would have done nothing to. It knocked it 3 feet across the room, and almost cut it in half. Thanks again.
always happy to encourage humorous idiocy FWIW I found reloading the crossman cartridges with salt does a lot better as the shredder ones will not line up 1-2 shots per 10. The BB one holds a little more salt than the pellet one, but you gotta use thicker than table salt since there are cuts in the BB one.
I bet I can load my Ruger Old Army black powder revolver with salt! Add some black powder, a little wadding, salt, pack it in with the plunger, then top the cylinders with Crisco......
