Choice Brisket And Baby Back Ribs On Sale At Kroger…Starts Tomorrow
Just got my weekly circular and Kroger's is gonna have Choice whole packer briskets on sale for $2.99 lb. Not too shabby! They’ll also have baby back ribs on sale for $2.77 lb. Hey bbqLuv the best news though is they’ll be having Coors Light on sale for $18.55 a case, better stock up!
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Freakin’ ribs are outrageous around here (NEPA), baby backs are $6.99/lb and spares are $6.19/lb. For that kind of money, I ordered half a dozen racks from Cheshire instead.

The last rack of ribs I bought at Frey Meyer's was labeled St Louis spare ribs.
Trimmed to about halfway between St Louis and spare ribs.
Sorry , no i do not think i have even seen a Packers, Points or Flats brisket sold at Food 4Less, maybe ground brisket in pre stamped burgers. Food 4 Less is you bag your own groceries store that sells limited items. Now our local Ralphs (Kroger) does sell Brisket flats but i have not seen them on sale ever
About Me
My name is Josh, not Joey (surprise), and I reside in Central Ohio. I have been grilling since I could drive, and smoking for around 15 years. Over the past couple of years I have gotten more into just cooking, and really enjoy sous vide and the flat top. I find myself experimenting with different foods and new ways of cooking as an outlet to work stress. I use every piece of equipment I own regularly, with the exception of the electric smoker. That only gets brought out on occasion to make jerky.
My favorite beverage is bourbon. I typically have at least 8-10 bottles open at any given time. While I have favorites, I enjoy sampling new and different varieties.
The Kroger here keeps putting baby backs on "sale" as a BOGO deal...but they mark them up to $5.99 or $6.99 a pound first. Just checked and it looks to be the case again.

I will stop at Costco on the way home tonight.
I’ve actually had some really good results with a couple of choice briskets from Kroger. I got them for 1.99 or 2.79 and sale pricing that was half or less the cost of a Prime up at Costco.
