Choice Brisket And Baby Back Ribs On Sale At Kroger…Starts Tomorrow

Just got my weekly circular and Kroger's is gonna have Choice whole packer briskets on sale for $2.99 lb. Not too shabby! They’ll also have baby back ribs on sale for $2.77 lb. Hey bbqLuv the best news though is they’ll be having Coors Light on sale for $18.55 a case, better stock up!

With a great sale like that I would try a beer-can brisket recipe Thanks for the sale info. Now if only there was a store by me…..

Freakin’ ribs are outrageous around here (NEPA), baby backs are $6.99/lb and spares are $6.19/lb. For that kind of money, I ordered half a dozen racks from Cheshire instead.

Panhead John I just may have to stock up, but for the room in the freezer. Thanks for the tip.
        What price on PBR?

They don’t sell PBR…..they do have standards after all. 😆

Well, Fred Meyer (one of our local grocery stores) is owned by Krogers. Wonder if they will have same deal. Gonna go find out in the morning.

QFC is also part of Kroger.
The last rack of ribs I bought at Frey Meyer's was labeled St Louis spare ribs.
Trimmed to about halfway between St Louis and spare ribs.

        Dear Panhead John

I have been vaccinated for Coor's Light. I have had three shots and a booster:
Vodka, Whiskey, Gin, and PBR Tall Boy. So, I am good.

Thank you for thinking of me.

        Sincerely,
        BBQLUV

bbqLuv you lost me on the PBR and a Tall Boy to boot. You and Panhead John need an intervention.

Sadly my Kroger just has the 2.99 deal on back ribs, but I did see ground chuck 80/20 for 3.49 a pound in the flyer. Nothing else exciting.

Sorry , no i do not think i have even seen a Packers, Points or Flats brisket sold at Food 4Less, maybe ground brisket in pre stamped burgers. Food 4 Less is you bag your own groceries store that sells limited items. Now our local Ralphs (Kroger) does sell Brisket flats but i have not seen them on sale ever

The Kroger here keeps putting baby backs on "sale" as a BOGO deal...but they mark them up to $5.99 or $6.99 a pound first. Just checked and it looks to be the case again.

The Kroger affiliate here does that all the time too. Drives me crazy

Uh - when I do that it shows "39.10" and at the bottom "3.99/lb" for the 3 Kroger stores nearest the house. Wierd.

I mean, it is a good deal, but I don’t know if I can spend all that effort for a choice brisket.

I’ve actually had some really good results with a couple of choice briskets from Kroger. I got them for 1.99 or 2.79 and sale pricing that was half or less the cost of a Prime up at Costco.
