Is there a better deal out there now than this Avid Armor in this thread?
My AVS7900 just crapped out on me, I think. Looking at my order history on Amazon, I ordered it in Nov 2022, so for $69 I've used it over 2 years, that's not bad. But it stopped vacuuming on me just now parceling out my latest batch of bratwurst. So I'm on the hunt... I've generally been happy with mine, but if this one is better or has more features or whatever, it's a little cheaper.
Chamber sealer isn't in the cards right now, sadly.
<edit> I would like to be able to double-seal in one use. I double-seal about everything, so that adds a lot of time for me.

that one negolien got is back up in the $50s, but still cheaper than the one I have. And it does double seal, so I think I may get it. You still happy with it? Have you used and abused it much? I find myself doing more and more vac sealing as I do more sausage, bacon, slicing lunchmeats with my monster Hobart 12" slicer, etc. It's going to get a workout for sure.

Holy crap! I went ahead and ordered the Avid Armor AVS2400 for $54.90, to be delivered today. Then today I go to check on it and it is being processed, but NOW the AVS2400 is on sale for $30.20!
I'm going to see if they'll let me cancel, but it doesn't look like it, and I doubt they're going to let me get the new price, so they're going to end up accepting this back for return once they deliver it to me and I'm re-ordering today - Prime Day is worth it this year! I don't know that I've ever really ordered much on Prime Day before, but this year, I'm at least getting this!
