Visserj I'm glad to see you decided on the Heatermeter! Did you build it yourself, or buy it from Auber? Somewhere else?
You will be much better served asking your questions in the actual Heatermeter forums. The guys there know the workings inside and out, and will be able to help you dial in the PID settings to keep your pit on target. You make also need to adjust how you're starting your pit.
As far as the time, it should be the current time. You may need to fix a setting to have it auto update the time, or change the time zone or something. Again the Heatermeter forums is a better place for this.
