Yes you do @Attjack..
Just remember that Amazingribs.com do not recommend cold smoking fish.
But if you are strict with hygiene and the quality on the salmon, there should not be any problem..

Or you can start out with something like this - provided you have too much time on your hands (and don't we all want to)? Has never failed us.
