    New "Brisket Sword" Entry

As a recent purchaser of a Dalstrong knife, I got an email about their new Gladiator series 14" serrated slicer. Pakkawood handle, granton edge. Rockwell 56+ hardness. $39.99. Fairly competitive with the $31 12 incher that has been touted here previously. Something to consider.

Dalstrong's Gladiator Series 14" Extra Long Serrated Slicer is versatile and suitable for carving roasts. Get yours today. Free US shipping.

I like it! If nothing else, it certainly looks better!

I have never used any Dalstrong Knives before, I have not heard anything bad about them. I am sure this is a fine knife for some brisket!

I have the non-serrated version of this and love it. I used it for brisket and bacon.

Looks like a fine slicer. You will need it professionally sharpened or you can buy a Chef's Choice 120 - 130 to sharpen it at home. I have the 120 and it paid for itself in about a year or so.

I’m waiting for their Shogun series slicer to go on sale. I now have 6 Shogun knives and love them all.

I’ve got the shogun slicer and it handles anything. It’s basically a 12” straight razor.

Not sure I like serrations for meat slicing applications, but if you make crusty breads...
