I went back WAAAY far on this one to introduce you to Lee Ann Whippen...a long time staple of any BBQ TV show and quite a formidable competitor on the KCBS circuit. She left a lot of competition events behind when she moved to Chicago to open a series of restaurants...but when people mention women in BBQ...she's certainly one of the first ones mentioned.

I am helping my wife mend from hip surgery a few days ago...I plan to have new eps up again next week!!

Host Note: You will also hear HOW BAD I was as a host a dozen years ago...not saying I am great now by any stretch...but certainly a difference (at least to me). ENJOY!!

I thknk I've warched a couple of bbq shows that she was competing on. Did anyone catch the rub she was using? I think she said the pink rub. I'm not sure what that is.
