The cousin who drew my name for this year's Christmas gift exchange needs help. I'm terrible to shop for, because if I need something I generally research the heck out of it and just buy it myself.
What's something awesome that you would never buy for yourself in the $50 to $75 range? I have a Grilla pellet smoker and a Broil King gasser.
Smokin-It 3D
Weber Kettle with an SNS
Masterbuilt kettle that I call the $30 wonder grill
Bullet by Bull Grills gasser
Anova WiFi sous vide machine
Thermoworks Thermapen and Chef Alarm
Good bulk spices
an accessory for your Grilla
a nice cutting board, a nice mid-grade Chef, Slicing, or Boning knife
Themoworks MK4 if can get on sale for that
I'm thinking Wagyu beef - a nice ribeye or fillet will run about that price from a number of vendors. I have never ordered beef online so if it is something that sounds good ask for advice about who to trust.

Perfect! I have been casually eyeing slicers like this one but never pulled the trigger because I do have decent kitchen knives. I've sent it along to him, thanks!
jtw - you will like it. I have it as well and it slices brisket wonderfully! To match it, find a cutting board big enough to place a brisket on it and use this knife and you are set! Perhaps you have a cutting board already, but it’s nice to have one really large non-wood cutting board for meats and such.

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Panhead John I added it twice to my cart. It must be something with your Amazon account. Worst case they sell the same one or similar ones countless other places. You'll love how nicely they slice!
