    Need gift ideas, $50-75

The cousin who drew my name for this year's Christmas gift exchange needs help. I'm terrible to shop for, because if I need something I generally research the heck out of it and just buy it myself.

What's something awesome that you would never buy for yourself in the $50 to $75 range? I have a Grilla pellet smoker and a Broil King gasser.

I should add that it doesn't necessarily have to be a BBQ accessory. I posted in this category but anything goes!

Good call on the Thermoworks! Was thinking the same thing

I'm thinking Wagyu beef - a nice ribeye or fillet will run about that price from a number of vendors. I have never ordered beef online so if it is something that sounds good ask for advice about who to trust.

Thanks so far for the input! I have a Thermoworks MK4 already, but I like the knife idea!
Any suggestions for something to carve up a brisket or chicken?

Perfect! I have been casually eyeing slicers like this one but never pulled the trigger because I do have decent kitchen knives. I've sent it along to him, thanks!

jtw - you will like it. I have it as well and it slices brisket wonderfully! To match it, find a cutting board big enough to place a brisket on it and use this knife and you are set! Perhaps you have a cutting board already, but it’s nice to have one really large non-wood cutting board for meats and such.

jtw - I've got the same non-Alpha OG and absolutely love it. You might consider one or more the following OG accessories:

                1. Rack Extension - Increases your cooking area to a very respectable 630 sq. in. I've got one and it allows me to cook 5-6 racks of BB ribs easily.

                2. Pro Wheels - If you find yourself trying to wheel your OG around the yard or to/from a tailgate or comp situation.

                3. Sauce and Rub Caddy - I don't have one ... but it sure looks useful.

                4. Grilla Grease Bucket - Why not?

A heartless and thoughtless a gift that it is, a gift card for Cabela's or Bass Pro.
He can pick his own gift and your off the hook.

Huskee I went to the site (thru our review link) to order the Mercer Edge Slicer from Amazon and it wouldn’t add it to my cart.

I’m on a lot of DO NOT lists, hard to keep track.

Got it! Tried it on my Amazon app.

Panhead John I added it twice to my cart. It must be something with your Amazon account. Worst case they sell the same one or similar ones countless other places. You'll love how nicely they slice!
