What Else Other Than Canopies To Deal With Rain?

I use a $40 7.5’ round table umbrella and a $30 weighted umbrella base now.

Once my outdoor cooking center is done I’ll have a few brackets on it that I’ll be able to slide my umbrella into.

I haven't done this, but a buddy had an interesting suggestion for my backyard. He said shop craigslist and fb marketplace for a used canvas sail and string it up as a sun shade and rain canopy.

I got tired of replacing canopies every year and finally did a quality umbrella. Hope to do a more permanent structure one day but for now it works and the solar charged battery LED built in lighting is pretty handy.

I’ve have cantilevered umbrellas for ever...but my cookers are all under a patio cover...
That said, I’m still somewhat confused...
What is this "rain" you speak of? ;-)
