Came across a box that was marked cooking things and books.
Can't even imagine when it was last opened. I don't believe I'm a boarder but sometimes I just store things without reason.
I rember this item from when I was a youngster and don't recall it ever having been used but was displayed somewhere in the house.
and a set of 12 cookbooks by Time Life Books dated 1978. A few excerpts.
Ah Time Life books. My mother bought those. She had probably 30-40 books. When my parents passed and we sold the house, the books got tossed except for "Poultry, Vegetables, Italian cooking and the New Orleans cooking" books. I kept those and still have them. Great memories.
I think it was more for a food warmer than a fondue pot?
I can't recall there ever being forks for it but that was so far in the past that there may have been.
