What Size Brining Container for 4lb Brisket?

I want to try my hand at making corned beef. What size brining container should I get? I think the brining mixture for the corned beef is about a gallon and needs to cover the brisket. I was thinking of something like a 4qt square Cambro.

So what I do is get a cart at Walmart, get a piece of meat that is roughly equivalent to what I want to brine/SV/whatever, and go around and put it in containers until I find the size I want. Then I put the meat back, check on Amazon on my phone for prices, then either order the container or buy it at Wallyworld. Saves me from running back and forth to the store; when I buy stuff separately, I always have to make several trips.

While not exactly budget friendly for a bucket, I've seen these on some of the bbq YouTube channels, particularly All Things BBQ. Just an option.

I use 2 gallon ziplock bags when curing my 5 lb bacon slabs. Should hold your piece of brisket and cure. Just remember to flip every day.

Hahaha. That's a good idea. The time lapse security cam footage must look pretty entertaining!

Thanks for the tip! That Brine Jr. bucket may just fit the bill.

Now that would be super easy and disposable. I didn't know there were two gallon bags. Never underestimate ZipLock!
