Walmart's Reusable Shopping Bag--BBQ Theme

I picked up one of these reusable shopping bags at Walmart yesterday just for its BBQ theme.



I'll use it for my BBQ odds and ends on my storage shelves.

I may get a couple more for gifting BBQ food in for friends.

Chicago has a 7¢ a bag fee at most groceries, so we have a lot of reusable bags. Whole Foods will give you a dime for bringing your own bag. So that’s 17¢ profit on every bag I need at WF. They pay for themselves in no time.

10 cents here. Don't know of anyplace offering $ to bring your own though. But still I get at least a dozen uses out of them so not bad.

We have to be careful of the bacteria that grows in reusable grocery bags. I toss mine in the washer. The Wally World type doesn't last longer than a few of washings on gentle, though, so I started spraying the insides with Lysol and letting them dry in between uses.

I often sew my reusable grocery bags from canvas, but this one from WW is just way too cute. So I'm still going to use them for BBQ odds and ends storage and for BBQ food gift bags.

Oh yeah, couldn't figure out my wife's car stunk so much every so often, started nosing around in the hatchback....holy mother of....washed majority, some just plain tossed
