    Ash Vacuum-Sun Joe

I know there have been a few topics on this one. I ran across this one from Sun Joe. They are a reputable brand. Anyone have any experience with this one?

That unit gets good reviews on Amazon, and is ~ $15 cheaper there too. I have no first hand knowledge though.

DavidNorcross You ever buy this? I'm looking to buy a vacuum for my pellet smoker.

No, I have not. I do own a cordless SunJoe power washer for minor chores and car washing. It is well built and really works well. I have no doubt this vac will do the trick. I just have not bought it yet.

I’ve been really happy with this one for my pellet smoker: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003M...b_b_asin_title

It’s plastic so I’m careful to let it cool down thoroughly ... then it does a great job of sucking up all the ash.

I have a Sun Joe telescoping tree branch chainsaw and I love the thing. I never would've bought an electric chainsaw but my dad bought one and I used it cutting a tree up at his place and loved the thing so much I bought one, heavy duty and user friendly. I have no doubt this is a great item. Myself, I am looking for a good portable battery powered vac.

I have that exact vacuum. It works great! I use it for my offset smoker, Weber grill and pellet grill. Easy to empty and sucks up pretty good chunks of wood and charcoal. Lets me use my shop vac for my automobiles and not getting dust everywhere.

You can really go cheap on this one. I got this vac head at Home Depot for around $18 on sale....

...you just stick it on a good old orange HD bucket. I have several buckets so I use a dirty one for ash cleanup and a clean one dedicated for fresh pellet change out. Of course I'm just a cheap SOB.....
