    Grill cover

Hi everybody! Need your advice. I’d like to buy a cover for my grill. The problem is that the grill was made by my husband and it is larger than normal grills, so I guess I need a custom made grill cover. A friend told me that custom made covers can be ordered at alcocovers[dot]com. Has anyone ever used this website? Or can you recommend anything else? Thanks in advance!

I haven’t ever used that particular site however I have used the covers from The Cover Store to cover up my island. Do you know the dimensions of what you are trying to cover? I believe the biggest "grill" cover they have is 110w x 40d x 48h but they have larger ones made from the same material for patio furniture. https://www.the-cover-store.com/gril...d-grill-covers

Many of their covers are available on Amazon which is nice as you can exchange it easily if the sizing doesn’t work out. If you use this link to take you to over to Amazon, AR will get a small referral fee at no extra cost to you

I've got one of the Amazon Basics covers, nice, especially considering the price. And they come in various sizes, so they might have something that would work.

Check Home Depot or Lowes, I've seen them stock generic BBQ covers.
Take your dimensions over there and match one up may not be a perfect fit but its covered.

I just ordered one of these yesterday from Amazon--I got the Elite because I prefer a dense polyester cover to the vinyl ones. I'll report back.

I have a few custom covers from www.Covers&All.com

ive had both for almost 2 years, the one for my smoker gets very little to know sun, the one for my grill gets morning to midday sun and is exposed to rain when it does rain. It is still in great shape, not brittle and like they get from sun exposure. The material is sunbrella. Best part, price was very reasonable. And customer service is great, as the first cover they sent me did not work - they didn’t make the cover to fit correctly and sent me a new one within a week that works great. I got to keep the other cover, which is on my smoker. I will buy from them again when needed, and a few of my friends have purchased as well.

Here’s a photo of both a Covermate cover as well as the Covers&All cover after two years.

I hope the one I ordered is Sunbrella--I like that weight. The product description just said polyester. The next level up was the Ultimate, made from ripstop .

fzxdoc my side burner cover is from the cover store. It is more fabric then vinyl. The Covers&All cover is more vinyl, but not really vinyl. The side burner cover is doing just as well, no fading, no wear, no brittleness. I’m impressed with it as well. Only difference between the two, it’s not as waterproof as the Covers&All cover but may be more breathable because of that.

Welcome from Winnipeg. Hopefully a generic one can work. Custom is good but more money. Do you have dimensions on that grill?

This is the one I really like. Heavy duty. Has vents. Not sure if it's big enough for your grill. There are bigger sizes though.

I too have bought several covers from https://www.coversandall.com/ , and they have all been custom covers. I have been really satisfied with the quality and durability of what I have received. Your package will most likely be shipped from there factory in India, but it arrived as quick as if shipped from the West coast.

I'm thankful to all of you for your answers! I've considered all the variants, but mostly this one https://www.amazon.com/KHOMO-GEAR-Waterproof-Different-Compatible/dp/B00VGM2U6I recommended by Rod and this one , and finally chose the latter. Here is the photo))

Looks good! How would you rate your experience ordering through ALCO? Did they make it as easy as the website leads you to believe?

yes, they did! The manager helped me to choose the right cover and consulted me on the materials available. And the delivery was very fast.
