That's pretty awesome. I've often thought about buying something like this, except that i've never thought about the collapsable part.

I have 1 brisket and 4 racks of ribs to load on the pellet smoker this weekend so I'll be able to test it out Saturday night.

Was this purchase for the extra prep space primarily, or is there something beneficial about prepping on stainless steel?

Mainly transport to the smokers and stainless since it cleans so well.

That looks like I can put it on the deck, then fold it up to get it out of the way. Going to have to take a good look at getting one. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice...and pretty much what I've been looking for...
Gonna order a couple. (For two different locations.)

I want something like this for tailgating... something flame-resistant or flame-proof that I can put my hibachi or smokey Joe on without worry about it burning. Cooking with those dudes on the ground isn't acceptable for my knees and back. Previously, I've used a cheap camp table that has a thin metal-like surface over particle board... which will ward off embers and maybe one dropped briquette for a few seconds, but it won't resist a lot of heat. This would be ideal.

OK...can we ‘table’ this discussion now?

            (sorry wise ass alert )

Don't worry, next pic of it will have raw meat. Then I will table it.

Works great I have a three and a half inch drop onto the patio no problem there, the rack on the bottom holds my containers of seasoning nicely.
