Building artistic, end grain cutting boards now

So I'm a segmented wood Turner & thought I'd try end grain cutting boards. This is one of 2 so far.

I find myself getting lost in that pattern, like Alice in Wonderland tumbling down the rabbit hole, BBQ Bill Wyko . As I commented on your other topic, those boards are simply beautiful. I can't imagine the work and the talent that go into making them. Kudos to you.

Usually make my own riff’s on Memphis Dust and BBBR. Also use Meathead’s commercial rubs and occasionally try something new. I like a couple from Tuffy Stone and Kinder’s. After several surgeries, I’m very sensitive to “spicy” stuff, so I need to be careful about heat levels.

Absolutely beautiful! I was trying to decide which one I liked better. They are both fantastic, but I think I like the one with the border the best. Stunning. I second what fzxdoc said too, very mesmerizing pattern. Well done!
