    Cotton gloves?

Can you recommend some cotton gloves to wear under latex to protect your hands from heat a little?

I think I ordered mine through Malcom Reed.

I go to tractor supply. They have a 12 pack of cotton gloves for about 7.00 bucks.

Mine are just some cheap ones from our locally owned Fleet Farm Store. Like others I only paid $2-$3 per pair. I've thrown them in the washer a few times and they are still good.

Cheap brown jersey garden gloves from Home Home Depot or Walmart is what I use with a pair of Harbor Freight Nitrile gloves over them. I like them better for pulled pork than claws or those thick insulated rubber gloves.

            Exactly why I'm asking.

I use those garden gloves that have extra coating on the fingers and palms under my nitrile gloves too. Works great to prevent burned fingertips. I use the extra large black nitrile gloves so they slip on easily over the garden gloves.

I buy the black nitrile gloves from Malcolm Reed's site.

That combo works great for removing hot meat from the smoker and for pulling beef, chicken or pork.

I do the same - nitrile over a garden glove. The garden gloves do double duty and work great for handling the greasy, dirty grill parts when I'm cleaning up after the cook.

I usually get mine from Big Poppa Smokers when they are having a free shipping deal or something...

          $6.50 for 12 pairs

BBQ Cotton Gloves: heat protection and comfort. Ideal under nitrile gloves to absorb moisture and prevent slipping. Perfect for grilling and competition.

I got mine from Harbor Freight, which is also where I usually get my disposable gloves.

I recently got these on amazon. They seem to do what I'd expect, but they're the first and only kind I've tried:

These work well for me, they allow me to keep my dexterity when cutting, pulling etc. I don't use claws to pull pork, these are great.

I use the same ones that Troutman recommended. They work great. It makes handling the food a breeze.
