It was in an email newsletter I got today from them, but I also didn't see any mention of it on their website. I thought I'd pass it on to my smoky brethren and sistren.

jumbo7676 -- I sure hope you like your grill grates. I purchased some for my Weber a month or so ago and have a few cooks on them so far. I'm pretty happy with how they work. I haven't decided whether I like the web side or the flat side best for searing meat -- I'm leaning toward the flat side -- but what I definitely do know is the flat side is great for grilling veggies.

This was very timely. I was just grilling some veggies last weekend and was worried about the zucchini and squash coins and slices onions falling through the grates. I know I got some grill mats at some point to cook veggies on but couldn't find them. Flat side of the grill grates will solve that problem.

IowaGirl , you may want to give the Grill Grate Griddle a try on your gasser. I have 2 sections and use them all the time on my gasser for searing mostly. Nice even browning across the meat surface, increasing the flavor with more Maillard effect going on. Plus because of the size and weight, the griddle is easy to clean.

After getting my first grill grates during the annual factory seconds sale even 10% off seems pretty steep. I think I may just have to wait until next year.
