Looking to buy a portable grill gazebo for under $200. Currently Napolean Gas Grill on concrete pad without roof cover. Looking for recommendations within this price range and the plan would be to anchor the gazebo with sand filled velcro bags that would attached to the gazebo legs for stabilization. I wasn't sure what channel to post this request on so if on the wrong channel I apologize. Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
For a couple of years I used a 10x10 popup that I paid maybe $79 for, to cover the grills and smoker in rain. Worked well until the nylon rotted out from the sun. that is the ultimate in portability, but probably not what you are looking for.

I think something costing less than $200 will be a disappointment. Wind and sun will destroy any "permanent" solution of this nature. Also, think about the coverage of the gazebo--10'X10' or, maybe 12'X12'. It don't take much wind to make rain go dang near horizontal.
Sorry my thoughts don't align with your hopes. Let's hope I'm just a cynic!

I have been looking for a solution for over a year and haven't solved it yet for exactly the reasons Willy stated. I have been thinking about supporting the corners with 2x4 partial walls but the canopy is the big issue with longevity. A neighbor replaces his top about every 3 years. He has put a tarp on his and it is on the shaded side of the house. Wind is what seems to destroy his.

My permanent solution was a 12’ x 21’ gazebo with a metal roof, ceiling fans, and lights. That said, I keep the grills out past the end of it and only roll the ones I am using under cover when it’s rain or other bad weather. Why you ask? I could say it’s so I don’t smoke up the bottom side of the roof. But it may also have to do with SWMBO stuffing more patio furniture than can fit into it before I was even done. Just ask Willard ...Last edited by jfmorris; March 10, 2019, 08:17 PM.

You might use something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sunjoy-L-GG00...d_i=B01KPJ35P2
Aldi had this canopy on sale for $69 in some locations last spring/summer.

WOOD & PELLET PREFERENCES
SOUS VIDE
INDOOR COOKWARE
I've been through so many of those cheap pop-ups that I've lost count. They all end up failing on me. Wind and rain are the biggest culprits. The last one I had was supposedly heavy duty. Had a rain storm in the middle of the night, water collected on the canvas and collapsed the entire thing onto my pellet cooker. the sharp aluminum poles ripped a gash in my heavy duty grill cover that cost me about $225. Needless to say, I'm never leaving one up ever again, IF I ever even buy one again

Hi have to agree with Willy I bought a budget gazebo once and it folded up in a decent breeze.
I eventually stumped up for a more expensive one with genuine thick steel etc. Its been a real bonus.
My advice pit a little extra to the side for a couple of months and shoot for a mid-range option at a minimum.3
