Props to Fireboard customer service

I have been having some temp fluctuation issues with either my probes or the unit. I called in and was going to order some new probes as I've used them so much in the last year that I couldn't in good conscience ask them to replace them. After talking the issue through we feel it's the probe and the woman on the phone insisted on sending me a whole new set of probes for free. I told them this is fantastic customer service and I would let my brethren know on this site.

They do stand behind their products. They replaced a whole unit for me last year. My only fear in the future is dealing with them once their warranty expires. It’s like a car dealership, they are accommodating until the warranty runs out then you’re on your own. Hopefully that won’t happen with them.

Same exact experience I had. Hopefully that service remains the same as they get bigger and more successful. I'm sure we all have seen it too many times where a new company comes on the scene and provides spectacular products/service. Then they grow and the greed does what it so often does.

I had a similar experience. My probes went bad about 2-3 weeks after the warranty ran out. They replaced them. Great customer service. When these probes go out I think I might try their professional version to see how they work.

That's what they are sending me. I even offered to pay the difference but they said no.

I just had a probe drop to negative for no apparent reason. I wasn’t cooking at the time, I had just left it on.

I guess I should mention it to them.
