    BBQ storage/prep cart

We recently extended our covered patio. I'd like to add a stand alone cart to prep/store stuff like this one. Can anyone here recommend anything? I'm not interested in building my own as I would like it to be nice!

I helped a coworker pack up for a move to Texas and had this workbench. I thought “With some butcher block on part of it it would make a fantastic BBQ table.

That’s nice! How do you think it will hold up outside?

Why not the one you posted? It looks pretty good.

Steve B I prefer when possible to be able to touch and feel things like that. If I can't, then the next best thing is to get suggestions from the good people here on the Pit.

Rod I hear you on that. But it is Amazon. You can always send it back. Just say item was not as described and they won't charge you to ship it back.

I have a big stainless steel table in my kitchen I use for a lot of prep. https://www.webstaurantstore.com/reg...00TB3072G.html Something like that would be great under a covered patio. Not a ton of storage other than the shelf underneath but plenty of prep space.

I have this same table without the backsplash in my garage for prepping meat and stuff. It’s right next to my garage fridge and freezer so it cuts down on in and out of the house. Made a huge difference in time it takes to get large batches of meat done.

The table is really good for the price. Had mined shipping damage but not enough for me to bother doing anything about. Need some casters.

I like the options with this table. JoeSousa What gauge of steel did you buy?

Rod I went with the 18 gauge. If I were in a commercial environment I would definitely go 16 gauge but for home use I think 18 is fine

I'm actually going for this tool cart tomorrow.

Harbor Freight buys their top quality tools from the same factories that supply our competitors. We cut out the middleman and pass the savings to you!

      Or maybe this one.......

I use that second one at work. It's a good tool cart but I don't know if I would use it for barbecue storage.

I can understand that it's kind of a special case scenario but I need something that locks, can be moved in and out easily and stores things like a tool cart. It'd not something I would be using for food prep.

Yeah I suppose it will work for whatever purpose you want it to.
