iGrill probe missing grate clip...

Somewhere along the line I lost the clip that attaches the iGrill chamber probe to the grill grate. Has anyone seen or developed a clever workaround, short of ordering a replacement?

You can wad up a small ball of foil and stick the probe through that until you can beg, buy, borrow, or fabricate a more permanent replacement.

Or stick it through a half potato cut cross wise so the flat side rests on the grill or put an alligator clip on the end.

I use the foil deal that Morgan was talking about or I just wrap the probe wire around the grate and allow it to stick up in the cooking chamber.

I do a combination of what MBMorgan and Spinaker say. I have a lot of clips, but often I'm too lazy to go look for which cooker they're in if ones not in the cooker I decide to use, so I'll wad up a small bit of foil and wedge it in the grates so that it stays securely and then I can position the probe exactly where I want w/o worrying it will move.

EBay has probe grate clips that have 3 different size holes in each clip. Love 'em.

I have bought a number of them off Amazon, as well. No shame, easy to lose. I have about a dozen now.
