Weber Portable Charcoal Table 7445 - How Do I Free the Legs For the Initial Assembly
I picked up the table & a Jumbo Joe at my local Orchard Hardware's liquidation sale. The scant instruction manual seems to indicate that I should be able to simply remove the table legs from the storage slots on the underside of the table but I can't get them to budge. I know that I must be missing something incredibly obvious.
Does anyone own this table? If so, how do you free the legs from the underside for the initial assembly???
I couldn't find anything that shows the assembly, but the below video shows the dis-assembly. It looks like the legs slide in on one end and there is a button/clip on the other end to clip that end in place:
I have that table and you need to do what RonB says above. You need to press the button side (similar to a button on a pop up tent) and slide it out, then raise slightly and pull out leg in other end. You'll figure it out.
I don't know what I'd do without the help of the guys on this site! I had to re-read both of your messages a few times before I finally realized that the push button is actually on the table legs... LOL. I watched the video a few times & it was never apparent to me. I kept looking for something to press on the table itself!
Thanks RonB and dshaffes the light bulb finally came on in my head! Weber really needs to do better with their manuals....
