Tip for Weber starter cubes

I think the packaging is a pain so I picked this jar up at the second hand store and filled it up.

You still end up with the same amount of crumbs, but this way you only deal with it once. Good call!

Attjack ..a quick question. I just set up my SnS and I purchased the Weber Starter Cubes. I haven’t opened them or tried my SnS. What is(are) the problems with the packaging? I’d like to nip any problems before they become a problem. Thanks for the help.

As Steve R. Mentioned you get a lot of crumbs that make a mess. You only have to deal with mess once if you open it up and transfer them to another container. It's a solution to a minor problem.

I only recently started usin them wee lil Weber starter cubes, an haveta agree; th factory packagin is a frustratin mess...

Haveta give kudos, on th cubes, themselves; they work far better than I had envisioned. especial with th addition of 1 double sheet of newspaper, currently my chosen method of chimley ignition...

I like that. It eliminates all the mess left behind after you pop a cube out.

Great idea. Those packages make such a mess. The top drawer of my BBQ chest is filthy from those things.
