    Old School Injector

    Needs some O-Rings. Dad gave me an idea to inject a little BBQ Sauce into sausage. This thing sure can create some mack daddy channels. Has a little tarnishing.

        Dang, haven't seen one of those in a long time! I'm sure Harbor Freight has the right size O-rings, not sure you'd want to use them though!

          Yep, O-rings are readily available. Just take that injector apart, clean it up, shouldn't take more than a few minutes, and get som new O-rings in there. Should be as good as new, and work for years.

                      Got the old leather off of the plunger end. Now it's just a matter of setting up O-Rings. I'm still amazed at how much hot metal I think I can still pick up with my bare hands.

                        Bingo. I can screw the outside disc in and out to expand and contract the O-ring for the best fit.

                          I have a similar, but brand new BEAST INJECTOR. I used it for the first time today to inject 17 lb pork shoulder from Costco. I used a different needle that had holes spaced up and down the sides. Directions say to slowly pull the needle out as you gently squeeze the plunger. This works well unless you pull too far - it squirts in various directions all across the kitchen. Only did that a few times before getting the hang of it. My wife came out of her craft room and saw the injector juice all over my shirt and the counter - I got a little scolding. Told her to chill; I was on a learning curve.

                            Yeah, the one and only brisket I injected was injected along with the counters, cabinets, and ceilings (pretty sure it made into another room). I injected pork shoulders while still in the bag.
