Now that summer is upon us, ice is your best defense against bacterial contamination. And drinking warm beer. But does "polymer ice" work better than plain frozen tap water? And does it matter where you put the ice in a cooler or lunch bag?

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Growing up and going to all-day events, for food safety reasons, mom did not allow mayo, only ketchup. ZERO cold packs. South Louisiana summer heat, probably still packing some CFU's.
Mosca Ha. First time I went to London I was 18 so I ordered a soft drink. They brought me a can of room temperature Coke and a glass. I then asked for ice. They brought me one cube. I fell in love with London and have been back since. In fact it’s one of my favorite places on earth. But the refrigerated beverage issue is legit.
