I have a small meat slicer that works OK on things like home cured/smoked Canadian Bacon or other meats/cheeses no bigger than like 4 inches. I would like to find something to make slicing things like slabs of bacon or pastrami or other pieces larger than 4 or so inches. Any recommendations?

Check Craigslist and FB Marketplace. Look for a good quality commercial slicer like a Hobart, Berkel, Globe, or Bizerba. With some patience you should see some pop up for $200-400. Hobart is probably considered the best of the bunch but any of the big commercial brands should suffice unless you are slicking hundreds of pounds a day.
I found a Berkel 827a for $200 a couple months back and it works great for whole slabs of bacon. It is a big, heavy beast but when I need it I am glad I have it.
