Looking for a Stainless Steel Table

In addition to the Weber Performer Deluxe my wife and I have, we added a 18.5" WSM to the family this past weekend. With all the research I put in to it I completely forgot one of the most import accessories I'll need, a work table. (The Performer and WSM are in two locations.)

I wasn't impressed with anything I found on Amazon. From the reviews everything seemed to rust. While it will be under a covered deck, it will be exposed to some moisture. I found www.webstaurantstore.com and amazed by the selections they have. While a little more pricey than Amazon, they seem to have some nice tables. I'm thinking 16 gauge, 304 SS. Has anyone done business with them? Are they reputable?

Meathead if you are listening, please add the importance of a good work table to the next edition of your book, lol.

I have ordered several items from webrestauantstore. A vacuum sealer, a stainless cart, and a stainless table along with some small items. I've never had trouble with them or the products received.

I've done business with Web Restaurant Store. They have a big selection but if I remember right their shipping was crazy expensive. Check your local Craigslist something might show up there. I got a 6' stainless table with a sink from a local hospital remodel. They had it laying by a construction dumpster and I asked if I could have it and they even had a guy help me load it. Do you have food service or restaraunt supply company local to you they could probably help you out too.

Their shipping wasn't too bad when I was checking. Things might have changed.

We've done a fair amount of business with them, and have always been satisfied. We do have one of their stainless tables, though it is inside. It's a very well designed and constructed thing. Be sure to decide whether you want shelves, drawers and casters. They're all available.

There is a store in my area that sells used restaurant equipment, and I have seen used equipment on the local craigslist too.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Lots of restaurants going under giving stuff away.

I'm happy with my Trinity SS table I bought on sale from Amazon for $88. It does catch some rain and hasn't shown any signs of rust. Hundreds of Amazon reviews with 85% being 4 or 5 stars.

You might check with AceMart, either online or, depending on where you are, in person.

Schools auction off old kitchen equipment. You might call your local school district and ask them.

I have loads of those tables, and they are great! We have 2 on the Truck, and I have a dozen more in my other business.

The lighter gauge tables are fine for the smaller dimensions. If you get a 30 inch deep, 60 inch wide table, I would go with the mid gauge.

Did I mention what a bargain these tables are?!!!

I ended up going with a Trinity that was on sale at Costco for $100. Looks like it is lighter than the 16 gauge I wanted but I figured getting it through Costco means easy return if I don't like it for whatever reason.
