Problem with FireBoard alerts

i just got my FireBoard. Set up was a piece of cake but the issue I’m having is it’s not sending me temp alerts via text, email, or even in app. Anything I’m doing wrong? It seems pretty straightforward so I’m baffled.

Hopefully you get that resolved, I've been thinking pretty strongly about getting one myself. I've got an "iGrill 2" right now but the wifi feature looks awesome. If I get more than 20 feet from my iGrill it loses signal. Wifi would be great for those longer cooks on my pellet pooper I can set and forget.

I needed the Wifi too as blue tooth is useless on my property. I just emailed them so hopefully I’ll hear back soon. I’ll post an update

In the app, Go to "account" then go to "edit" then you should be able to add your information. If you have already done this, make sure you have the set points set to alert you. You can do this in the online dashboard.

If that doesn't work. Contact Fireboard. They are great and will be very happy to help you.

I think this may be part of the problem. I just entered my phone number in the area that says sms. Still doesn’t explain why no email or in app notifications. Will test out tomorrow.

There are times in the app for setting alert thresholds. Or how often an alert repeats etc. Play with those maybe you have something set strange.

Sfdrew28 I don't have a session going right now so Fireboard won't let me into the detail view of the dashboard. But as I recall, if you scroll down below the alerts you set there are switches you can toggle to turn the different notifications on or off individually.

Okay...customer service was very responsive. Apparently I didn’t use dashes when I put my phone number in. Who woulda thunk it...apparently all of you. Lol. Thanks all for help. Cook on.
