Maybe we should call those "Chicago frys"?

Imagine all the engineering and manufacturing time it took to invent a fry cooker....

I would roast peppers in it.

Am I missing something? How would roasted potato strips be fries? Maybe I'm being cynical but I don't see how they'd taste any good.

@smokenobb, cool mine does too, "oven fries". But they bake in a little oil...I don't understand how a rotisserie would work for them but you learn something new everyday..

Here's my question, especially with russets and Yukon's. When you start cooking those they with "Starch up" and get soft. Then with all of the tossing about they likely will break unless they are real thick. Also the starch will be all sticky then crispy on the rotisserie basket.

IMHO I think the stock photo above had the "fries" cooked and then put in the basket.

No way that basket stays that clean.

I like the basket and rotisserie though. Peppers FOR SURE!!

Father in law cooked chicken wings/legs/thighs in a contraption like that. They came out awesome.

Weber doesn't even present the rotisserie basket as a "french fry rotisserie" ... just as a "Fine Mesh Rotisserie Basket". Not sure why the stock photo shows it full of taters ...

Is it available in the US? When I google it, I keep getting Great Britain Weber links.
