Stumbled upon this kettle gadget and wondered if anyone has ever heard of it or used it. It looks like it might be a handy accessory similar to the SnS, but with some flexibility. Here is the link to the website: https://e94rez.wixsite.com/changon

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
That’s like someone chopped just the water chamber off a Slow ‘N Sear, and you wedge it in the kettle. Not worth it - just get a SNS.

Looks a little flimsy also, almost like aluminiminum foil. Ol David Parrish has more cheapy, knockoff competition. It’s got to be tough.

It's literally half the product for over 3/4 the price. It will work of course, probably better than using a loaf pan for water during a cook, but like Jerod says the water reservoir is only half the benefit of the SnS, the charcoal basket and airspace between the coals & kettle wall is the other often-missed benefit.
