    New Knives!!

You gusy now I love my knives. I've been using my grandmother's Old Hickories for years. They're nice knives. WAY superior to the 'ginsus' most folks have. but I've always wanted a great set of Asian Damascus Knives. problem us, they usually run a couple of hundred dollars per blade!

You guys also know that I surf Kickstarter a lot. I found my new knives! not only are they a reasonable price, a full set of 5 must haves and reasonably priced, but the Pakkawood is stained so I can have a color to match what I want in my kitchen rather than just the usual black or brown! I'm getting the turquoise! Who's surprised???

I am SO happy to see that color coming back! My dream car has always been a 55 Chevy Bell Air 4 door hard top, Cream on Turquoise. I'm never ginna be able to do that but I can do the colors in my kitchen!!!

I can't waut to get my new knives! and I'll do a good review of them when I get them for you. they're also offering a few extras AND a set of steak knives that ,match! Now, I just wish they'd make some sort of flatware set to go with! but, once they arrive (I think end of March) I'll tell you guys how well they work and over time how the edge holds.
Take a looks at these, I am VERY excited (can you tell?)

I'm hoping I won't be disappointed in the edge or the feel. the reviews look good and the metals are excellent. of course, I do have a couple if $300 knives, individuals and the MARVELOUS Paring knife my Santa gave me, to compare these too. so that will make the review better.

The feel is such a personal thing that it's hard to know if you like until you get it. Fingers crossed.

well, being a woman and practical, I lean more to the 4 door hardtop, but I really LOVE the two door ragtop! Here in Chattavegas, we get a LOT of great convertible days!!

That's my Dad's first '55 Buick, except he couldn't afford the convertible. His second was pink with a black roof. Talk about sensitive new-age guy - not!

Congrats on the knife choice they look awesome! I too just recently took the plunge into expensive cutlery. A internet friend from another forum forges custom knives. I'm having him make me a set of 3 kitchen knives and 4 matching steak knives. Because they are handmade I have to wait a couple months. It's a agonizing wait!
Will be looking for your review of these beauties!

I hope that nowhere in the ads for these knives did they write: "But wait, there's more"...

                  Best wishes with 'em!!!

Nah, it's like all the Kickstarter stuff, though. if they put out a great product, they'll build a company on it. hopefully, that leads to more great products that work with it. I bought a set of fantastic sheets last year and have been chatting with the creator about fibers. now, he's looking into launching another product with a fiber I am SO looking forward too, Ramie from Korea!!
