I came across a packet of KT's Clean BBQ disposable aluminum grill liners on sale at Walmart last year sometime and really like using them.
But I've never used them directly on the grill grate. What I like them for is putting on top of an aluminum-foil-lined rimmed cookie sheet for cooking a pound of bacon on my gasser.
Then this morning I decided to use the same setup--foil-lined rimmed cookie sheet with one of those disposable liners on top-- to roast a few pounds of beef bones and 4 shorties on my gasser for homemade beef broth. (I'll use some of the broth for homemade French onion soup later on in the week.)
Anyway, it's sure a nice way to keep the bacon or meat out of the grease without dirtying a metal rack, which is what I used to use and hated to clean.

It's supposed to be the thickness of 3 sheets of heavy duty aluminum foil.
Has anyone used them directly on the grill grate as intended?
Kathryn
