    My Kindling Crackers

Played around a little with my new Kindling Crackers. They work pretty darn good! The regular one on the right will accommodate any hunk of wood up to 6 1/2" in diameter. The XL on the left will go up to 8 1/2".

Both, sweet! I got my King about a week ago or so. I too LOVE it. I think it lives up to the hype I'd read, and I'm glad I got it. Defintiely beats my axe/maul, and even my hatchet will get limited use now.

No stick burning operator should be without one.

Agreed! I made due with a hatchet, axe, and miter saw. This eliminates 2 of those and eliminates work.

Especially when indulging in adult beverages!

        hahahah tiny!

I got some log sections that won't even fit in that big one. No choice but to axe 'em.

I'm likin mine as well. Thinking of seasoning it with some Crispbee : ) Spinaker

I here it is. Neil from over at NOMO almost had me convinced to give it a go but I just keep reaching for that bottle of oil... I may get some here soon.

Oil works fine too, its all personal preference. Sometimes I use flax oil, leaf lard or Crisbees. The iron is the most important thing anyway, right? Jon Solberg P.S like to see some of your collection over on our Cast iron thread, if you have time.

Man I got nothing fancy. Just a hodge podge of this and that.

I find myself using mine a lot, and I couldn't be happier with it. There is something even more satisfying than popping bubble wrap about putting a nice straight grained log through there with one or two licks with a 4 lb. hammer. I even use mine to cut wood chunks down to size with precision.

Hmm..I probably need one of these added to the arsenal. My kids got me one of those electric log splitters for my birthday a few years ago. It works great with one exception you better keep a close eye on what you're doing. The wedge in front that the piston pushes the wood into is not as tall as it should be. The wood will ride up over the top of it and come flipping back right at your face!

I have the original Monster Maul that I bought probably 35 years ago and it's split many a cord. I use it now to split my quarter logs down into smaller splits for my stick burners when I need smaller splits.

Damn I thought I was going to make it through the week without getting one. I have a NT right down the street that I can grab one from. It should make things easier while using the KBQ.
