    Timers.

Eventually I think I may want a timer. The counterargument is that a cell phone works pretty well. That aside I see Thermoworks is having a sale on their TimeStick Trio ($26.00 plus shipping). I've also been looking at the OXO Good Grips Triple Timer ($20 free shipping for Prime members).

Do any of you use either product? Or is there something better?

I have the timestick. They included it as a freebie last time I bought something. Works fine - straightforward.

And yeah, the smartphone pretty much works just as well.

Nice freebie. They gave me jelly beans last time and I felt special.

Well, between me making this thread and EdF 's response I think I'm officially talked down from the ledge. I'll stick with my smart phone.

I have the Timestick trio. I bought it deliberately, it was not a freebie. It’s nice, but not necessary. I also have a couple of single Timesticks, which I really like. The smartphone and the wind-up timer work just as well.

Good point. I plan to add a Dot once I've moved the backyard stereo from the garden room to the outdoor kitchen. So I'll probably end up using that in the end.

I have the Timestick Trio and it works great. Very simple to use and helpful to have when cooking multiple foods.

I like the Time Stick. I never use my cellphone for timing.

I've never once thought "man I need a timer". Lol. I guess I don't cook stuff that needs a specific time.

Sometimes I set a timer to remind me to start cooking another dish.

Why do that when you can just forget?

Believe me I go back and forth.

I use my phone. It will create multiple timers, and you can give them names.

I just use my Apple Watch for timing when i need to. I get the added bonus of people looking at me like I'm crazy when I'm talking to my wrist.

Seems like you want a timer that could do more than just apples. Cool that it's on your watch though.

These are on sale today! I keep wanting to buy one, but now that I use the Fireboard, I don't need one, as it keeps the time for me.
