Hi, my name is Joe , I have seen ads for the new Anova "Nano" Which I believe starts shipping in October. It is a smaller version that is rated at 700 watts, and 3 gallons of water. https://anovaculinary.com/nano/ I have the Anova wi-fi version, which I bought for the higher wattage, (900 vs 800 for Bluetooth only version) not for the wi-fi. I have used the wi-fi option like maybe twice. There are many users on this forum that have the Anova and are very pleased with it. I am quite happy with mine. My only complaint is the large size for the power you get out of it. It does take up a fair amount of room in your pot, but if you get a bigger container, that won't be an issue. You really can't go wrong with the Anova, no matter which model you choose.
Personally, I think that I will save up my pennies, and get a Joule for my next sous vide cooker. It does not have a user interface on the device, so it is much smaller, it has a magnetic base, and is rated at 1100 watts instead of 900. The only possible down side is that it must be controlled by the app.

Quick question, how well do these work with transformers? In Germany we are running on 220 and we hook up a lot of our US electronics to transformers. I thought I read on the Joules website that they did not recommend it and I certainly do not want to fry a machine with a transformer. Any insight is welcome and would be a big help... I am trying to find the right one to buy.

I think Europe runs their electronics at 50Hz, in the states ours run at 60Hz. I'd be concerned with the output of the transformer, it may not be able to support the high power requirements of the Sous Vide. I would look for one that runs on your native power.
My opinion from a non-electrician, but uses electricity everyday and who's never been to Europe, but watched the movie Euro Trip one time.
