    That's not my setup. Just a pic from the vacuum website.

      Hey man, it's your pit. Wanna clean it with a vacuum, cool. Paintbrush, cool. Small broom, cool. Sham-wow, cool. Yorkie, it's not my dog.

        Yeah, just wanting a discussion. Always good to see the perspective of others. I'll be buying a paintbrush for sure. An ash vacuum? Maybe.

        I personally use my Ridgid shop-vac with a bag to clean out my Primo before any long cooks. And I use it on the inside of the lid once a month.

      I wait 24 hours and use my Shop Vac that has a bag and a filter. Works good on the BGE and Pellet Grill. The Weber Kettle just gets dumped in the garbage the next day.

        I don't blame you wanting to use a vac! Where i am at the wind seems to be always blowing when I try to use the ash sweep on the grill and get a face full lol. I was thinking of an Oneida Dust Deputy mounted to a metal ash can and a regular shop vac for hot coals and ash. https://www.oneida-air.com/inventoryD.asp?item_no=AXD001002&CatId={6EE79B16-EB63-43E7-8F30-1E06240A24A4}

          Yup. My yard seems to have a wind tunnel that sweeps through it. Interesting contraption. Spendy too but, "It's also ideal if you're expecting to suck up high-temperature materials such as hot coals and ash."

          Fortunately this is not something I need to consider. I just got a PK360 and it has an Ash Hole(TM). That's right, an Ash Hole and it is trademarked. I hang a metal bucket off a couple of hooks in the back, take out the ash plug, and push the ashes out the Ash Hole(TM). I amuse myself by making flatulent sounds when I do it. As you can tell, I am easily amused.....
