New GrillGrate Display at Scheel's Ace Hardware, Fargo ND! Very Impressive!
GrillGrate Brad, I was in Scheel's Ace Hardware on 13th Ave S in Fargo ND, Today! I was Pleasantly Surprised at the GrillGrate Display, including Tools!👍👍👍👍👍 It was in Combination with a Weber Spirit 3 Burner Gas! Scheel's is the Most ProActive BBQ Store in the Fargo Moorhead Metro Area! I was also surprised to see the AmazingRib.Com Magnetic Temp Guide offered in the Display! I would Say that Here in Indian Country, Brad You Have Counted a Major Coupe!

JCGrill, You are Correct they Started Out as a Mom & Pop HDW in Barnesville Mn! I don't know how many HDW Stores they Currently Operate in the Upper MidWest? The Scheel's AllSports Stores are Huge with Hunting, Fishing, Skiing and College Sports!

Thanks for posting that Dan! Scheel's has done really well with GrillGrates. We do have dozens of ACE Hardware's around the US carrying GrillGrates. We are not in the ACE warehouse but have a growing business with individual stores on a direct basis. We are also talking with All Sport's as well. You can tell they are great people!
I always had a line item in my costing formula for... just in case money. Just in case I had to pay for repairs and returns.
Keeping your quality control inside your factory tight so less than 2% of your product ever requires any service is critical. Costing in 2% of gross revenue for warranty expense is brilliant. That way you always have funds to provide quick efficient service to keep customers smiling. It's really like refunding them what you charged them for, just in case there was a problem.😬🤑
Had I tried to cut that 2% out to increase my profits I would have had fewer SMILING customers and probably fewer total customers. Trying to get a customer back after they feel cheated is impossible!

Correct Dan the Man. Dealing with an irate obnoxious customer is an art form. Few customers service people have the skills, training and knowledge to pull that off.😡 I had a lady that worked for me that had been trained by both AT&T and the Arizona Republic Newspaper Co. She was the best ever!
Agreed! Plus... if you ask that exact question the customer will usually ask for a much less costly resolution than you were willing to give them.😬 Ask them what they want, give it to them, and watch them smile.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

UPDATE SEPT. 2018. GrillGrate is now in all ACE Warehouses with 12 of our top selling SKU's. We've been most impressed with ACE Corporate and their efforts to carry best product with most knowledgeable service. As I told my ACE friends... When I was a KID- My Father hung out at the Hardware Store... NOW I hang out at the Grill Store... It's still the same place... ACE Hardware is the Place. Get Your GrillGrates at ACE!
Congrats on the ACE partnership. I sure wish there was an Ace Hardware left here in Huntsville, Alabama. The last one closed up years ago though. I sure liked it better than the big box hardware stores!
