Is the BBQ Dragon just a hair dryer?

More like an overbuilt battery operated hair dryer with no heat setting. It just blows ambient air.

It is a battery powered, variable speed, water proof fan on a goose neck that can be affixed to any grill with a large heavy duty clip. The BBQ Dragon is well made and works beautifully. You can duct tape a hair dryer to a patio chair if you prefer.

I can honestly say, on a still day my offset LOVES the BBQ dragon! I actually have taken my wife's hair dryer out and blown it on the fire for a while, and I've used my Shop Vac on blower mode too. I even went as far as wondering how I could tape my wife's hair dryer to a stick (@Max, no joke!), that's when I finally realized a BBQ Dragon was in my future.

FWIW It has been the most valuable accessory, next to my Mavericks, that I have bought. I will highly suggest if you pick one up, get the $30 recharge kit. Will make life so much easier.
