Really like that Lodge piece (my wife bought one for herself last week)! And it fits perfectly on the BGE! ;-)

Mr. Bones - thanks for the photos! I love my Lodge Dutch Ovens. I'm looking forward to finding out what you are planning to do first with that new stuff.

Mr. Bones - that is way too nice to put in a BBQ. My wife would drill a few holes in the middle, would fill the large side with soil and herbs and would put water in the pan for a self watering planter and she would mount in under a front window.

Dude, sorry I missed this. I love that 17" I don't use mine much. I just don't really have surface for it. Unless I use it at the duck hunting tent. But I haven't done that for a couple years now. Great shots. Its amazing how big that thing really is, once you get it.

Spinaker My thoughts are t' unceremoniously plop it down on one o' my 18.5, er 22.5 Webers, an give 'er Aitch Eeee Double Hockey Sticks!!!

Yeah you can certainly throw that beast on a Weber. I wish my KEG was 22.5 instead of 18" then I could use it outdoors a lot more. The handles hit the interior of the KEG. They are fun to plop onto of a cast iron stove. Makes you feel like the old days, before I was even a thought.

Congrats Bones, nice buncha toys there. You will be one happy boy putting all that to good use. I have the same knives too, except my Dexter slicer is white handled like the 6". Those are my brisket daggers.

Spinaker I think it's the same one as you, they call it scalloped but that's referring to the rounded serrations. When I think 'scalloped' I think side scallops, which mine does not have.

Yeah scalloped is the serrated version. I know some people that have the smooth blade and they say it is much easier on the tender parts of the brisket, like the point. But those serrations are great for getting through that bark! Huskee Just didn't know which blade style you had.
