@Atalanta
I can highly recommend th' RTIC 30 oz tumblers without any reservations!!! Bought one last spring, used it all summer in my work truck, in KS heat, more often than not sittin' in direct sun. Kept ice water all day, took ice water home, still had some ice in it th' next mornin'.
My house set at like 80° plus in th' summer AC season...
More recently bought a 20 oz. er, fer coffee an' such, mebbe... ain't tried it out, will report in when I do.
Buy th' 30 oz. er, ya'll LOVE it!!!

Sehr Kühl!!!

Mr. Bones - I took your advice and now have a 30 oz tumbler sitting next to me. I got a separate lid so it can seal when I'm not drinking out of it. The outside of the tumbler is cold metal, but the contents haven't really cooled off yet (my morning coffee). I'm sold!

Thanks for sharing! Great deals on some best of the best coolers, Yeti clones, for those who don't know RTIC ("Artic").
Amazon has them as well. Here is AmazingRibs' link to the large 65qt RTIC cooler on Amazon.

John, I have both and can tell you they are mostly identical. Actually, RTIC coolers are slightly larger - performance is identical, you cannot tell the difference. The back story on RTIC is they are a recently new company who has these made in (just like Yeti) China. The reason RTIC sells for such low prices is that they are the sellers, they have no distributors. It's a win win!Originally posted by johnugadawg View PostAnyone have experience with the RTEC? I own a small Yeti. I love it. It's just not large enough. Please comment if you have used both.

Yeti is in Austin and RTIC is in Houston. The 30 oz mugs are at Sam's, Costco, and Wal Mart to name a few places that are identical to the Yeti. There are some variations in the lids from vendor to vendor. I have several for guest from different sources and the names are the only difference. I guess the coolers are coming out of the same plant too.
If you go to market way above value someone will surely come in under you.
On the mugs I have bought them for $19.95 for two from Wal Mart. Costco had the same price on them.
