    Cambro vs. Carlisle

I am thinking about getting some Cambro or Carlisle equipment. There is obviously a price difference and I am curious if anyone has experience with both and can give some comparisons, pros and cons, insight, etc...

    Equipment:
~Front Load Insulated Food Server (that holds around 3 pans or so)
~Insulated Beverage Server (probably around 5 gallons)

    Uses:
~Front Load Server would primarily be used for holding food at competitions and for transporting food when cooking for parties etc...
~Insulated Beverage Server would be used primarily to hold and provide hot water at comps and events so I can have access to warm water to wash hands and dishes (or at least pre wash the dishes).

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Some folks had strong opinions on my thread (cambro or yeti). Check it out!

Hey scottranda I saw that and didn't want to hijack the thread... it spawned me to see if anymore folks had specific experience... what did you decide?

Haven't decided yet. I'm also weighing my options of a Cambro/yeti/other versus a lot of other BBQ gadgets. Limit in asking Christmas gifts when there are so many wants/needs versus $$ amount of budgets

Going to try to bump this one more time for feedback since Huskee buried it off of today's posts in a 2 page avalanche of "welcome to the pits".

....The good news is the Today's Posts are separated into pages, so worst case scenario all we have to do is click the page 3 or 4 buttons to find older posts!

Huskee There's no reason that assigning homework or saying hello needs to be public. Most forums eschew public 1-1 messages. Your point that other members could do it is *somewhat* valid, but when that happens it is spread out over time. When you do it in bursts it's annoying.

We try to greet all new members, and we do it publicly. This maintains awareness for all that we have tips and guidelines that are very helpful. Please also realize our moderators all have day jobs and some times they get caught up all at once. I'm good with that. This is the way I run The Pit. Please PM me if you'd like to discuss further. Thanks.
