Outdoor Storage and Countertops

Howdy,

The more I grill/smoke, the more I wish I had more counter space on my deck. And same with outdoor storage space.

Now, I see there's all sorts of custom cabinetry options available for those with a large budget. Those appear to run in the thousands.

I don't need anything quite that fancy though.

And ATM I'd rather save up huge hunks of cash for a higher end cooker :-)

So for the more budget minded, does anyone have any experience with outdoor counter tops and/or cabinets?

On Amazon, there's this Suncast cabinet for $120 which looks nice, though some reviewers mentioned it didn't last long for them:

I've look at, but not yet purchased the Keter Rockwood Outdoor Plastic Deck Storage Container Box 150 Gal, Brown at Sam's Club. It looks well made and currently $99.96. On Amazon it's about $24 more. I'm looking for a taller unit with a top at counter level that I could sit a piece of metal on so I could also sit hot stuff off the grill on.

andreychek and fuzzydaddy I have one and it stores a lot. As to counter level just build a platform with deck boards.

@andrewchek, you just need to buy a Weber Genesis and add their Island Cabinets. Plenty of storage, good counter space and you get a new grill in the process!
