With these gloves you can pick up Grill Grates right off the top of the grate, with a fire at +500*, and hold them for about 5-10 seconds. Lesser heat, like 350*, these gloves shrug that off like nothing. Plus, they are gloves, not mittens, so if you need that kind of functionality you have it.
The link above is the AR coded link, so if you want to order straight from it AR gets credit.
I've got a pair of those. Not that impressed. They don't really perform any better than many other gloves I have/tried.
One caution with that sort of open weave glove is that you want to be VERY CAREFUL handling hot liquids. Spilled or splashed liquid will go right thru those and can give one quite a scalding.

Well no, don't get them wet. I have rubber gloves for when I'm dealing with liquids. But with these, I can do everything short of actually picking up burning embers. They are far superior to leather welding gloves, or the Weber mittens, or Ove Gloves.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Thanks for sharing. I've considered gloves for fire duty....but I'm too lazy and burn my hands weekly already. I wonder if I'd actually put them on... I do wear nitrile (like latex) gloves for meat trimming, just because I like the much easier washup afterward.
I've picked up and moved hot coals without issue and moved butts, pulled butts and whatnot from grill to pans with no discomfort. These gloves clean easily with soap and water (even the dishwasher) and wet, oily and/or greasy whatnots are a nonissue. If you have to work over a hot grill for extended periods....they do get hot....mild 4 to 5 letter word hot

A cheap pair of cotton gloves used inside the gloves 7x57mm linked above, increase the insulation factor to a much more comfortable level when dealing with extreme heat.

Don't want to poop on the discussion of high tech gloves but I still stand by my heavy leather welding gloves. If I need to move burning coals, there's a long handle pair of tongs always nearby. If I do get a severe overheat (only once so far), they fling off easily ... just as designed. As a plus, after years of dedicated grill/smoker duty those old leather gloves now smell good enough to eat!

I don't think you're pooping on it! Just like there are many cookers, there are many gloves. My endorsement of this product does not in any way invalidate other products, as evidenced by everyone having no burns!
The other day, after doing the tenderloins, I reached into the egg that was showing 550* and removed the grill grates with the gloves on. My hands did not even get warm, until the third one a little bit. These are damn good gloves. And $20 for a quality set of gloves this good is a deal.
