I will stick with the knife and save the $24 for beer

$24 worth of beer will be gone before you know it. This thing will be in your junk drawer FOREVER. You need to look at the long tern investment

rat88 I have enough junk in my junk drawer as is. Trust me, I will enjoy the beer a lot better.

Looks like another solution desperately seeking a problem to me.

I'm very curious what they could have possibly patented with that design. There's nothing new there as far as I can tell.

            Could be a design patent.

I prefer my really sharp knife. I cut a lot of fat from between the point and flat and I don't see that product helping to do that. Plus I like the beer idea!

So it's like a potato peeler but for brisket. I taught my 15 year old daughter how to trim with a knife and saved the $25. Don't hate the idea, but I can't really see buying one. It might be useful if you are cooking a whole bunch briskets or butts at once.

I really can see it being nice when wanting to take off that stupid long line of fat off the back of the flat and just having to do one long stroke and getting it all off.

But if I can't sharpen it, it is no use.

I don't have one, but it would appear from the pictures that the blade is held on with screws that go up into handle. If true, it could be easily sharpened. Otherwise one of the small rod sharpeners would work.
