I have received a cash gift of about $200 and your input on what accessory(s) to spend it on would be great! My signature lists most of the equipment I have. Here are the ones that come to mind, but feel free to suggest something else or a combination. And let's keep it around $300 max in case I decide to wait for another $100 to put with the $200.

fuzzydaddy ... There are lots of things you could spend that money on but you chose BBQ gadgets. Is your MCS acting up?😆
I voted for the DigiQ Dx2 but I would consider this gadget too.Last edited by Breadhead; June 25, 2016, 12:37 PM.

Breadhead I have the PartyQ and love it. No power nearby at my place in Tennessee is why I got it. I hope to run power to my BGE when I move it to my place in Florida and get the DigiQ.
-
fuzzydaddy ... I'm going to get a PartyQ to use on my 26" Weber kettle I think.
-
Breadhead I recently installed an adapter on my kettle. Hope to use it soon for a rib, butt, or chuck roast cook.

Komodo Kamado 22" Supreme
PK Grill
Weber Genesis S-330
Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center
Weber Go Anywhere charcoal portable(my oldest Weber)
Maverick 732
Tappecue
ThermaChef
ThermaWorks Smoke
Thermapens
I voted for the SNS XL since you have both 22" and 26" kettles. You might "need" to be smoking on both at the same time and where would you be then?
For me, cash as a present is meant for something I wouldn't ordinarily buy, it's for that extravagance I'd never indulge myself in with my own money. Example: For my Father's Day gift to myself I spent some of my PayPal balance from the sale of the Performer and WSM on the Bob Kramer knife mentioned in another thread. It's a luxury that I never would have thought of buying out of pocket, but using found money for an heirloom-quality tool seemed the right thing to do.
So indulge yourself, get something special that you can tell the giver about how much you treasure it and never would have bought it if they hadn't intervened. They'll be happy to hear it!Last edited by billg71; June 25, 2016, 12:57 PM.

Grill: SNS Charcoal Kettle/ Grilla Original / Weber Genesis EP-330 / OK Joe Bronco Drum
Thermometers: Thermapen / iGrill 2 / Fireboard
For Smoke: Chunks / Pellet Tube / Mo Pouch
Sous Vide: Joule / Nomiku WiFi (RIP Nomiku)
Reddit: LeCheffre
Meat would be my first pick. Your signature did not suggest if you have a sous rig or not, so I voted Joule. Joule not being delivered yet would be a reason to consider an Anova wifi, but I love team ChefSteps, and trust them more than the Fettermans of Nomiku (I'm backer 32 on the Nom WiFi, and it's somewhere in Nebraska as I type. A year plus after it should have been here).
Any rate, if you already have an immersion circulator, then meat. Or the SNSXL.

fuzzydaddy I would vote for the SlowNSear. I have a PartyQ, but sometimes I wonder if it really makes any difference with the set it and forget it soft the BGE. If you are interested in expanding your Egg's capacity I would suggest you check out the Rig at Ceramic Grill Works. https://ceramicgrillstore.com/collec...-big-green-egg

Thanks to everyone for your input. I do appreciate it. It was hard not selecting everything. Haha! I went with the Slow 'N Sear XL (order just placed) and nylon grill brushes (1 for Florida, 1 for Tennessee). I will also be cooking some butts on my Kettle for my neighbors in the coming weeks.
