- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Looks great! And SHINY!
One thing I have noticed on new ranges is the tendency to have all the controls along that front edge, where I have a constant fear of toddlers turning on the stove. It's one reason I have yet to upgrade the cooktop, as our current one has the gas burner knobs on the right side, and most new ones seem to put it at the front.
An electric one like this probably has a child lock button you can hold to activate, and induction won't come on if there is no pot on the burner. But that doesn't work for gas like I still have...

We always had gas with the knobs on the front and the kids never expressed any interest in the knobs. We actually specifically bought this one because it had the knobs. The other Samsung model was touch button which we both thought would be super annoying when cooking. Reviews generally complained on the buttons being hard to work with as well.

Doesn't look great, but I pull all of the knobs off of my stove and put them back on when I use them. Why, you ask? They are very easy to turn on. I would accidentally turn them on while trying to remove things out of the stoopid microwave. I didn't want a dog jumping up there and accidentally turning on a burner.
